5 ways to soften butter without melting it

Microwave it 5-10 seconds at a time.

Place hard butter in a warm glass.

Grate cold and hard butter slab using a grater.

If butter is cut in cubes, leave outside fridge. The room temperature will work its magic.

Place the butter slab/ cubes on countertop, lay in parchment paper and roll to soften it.
