Since quail eggs come in small size, use a pan to boil it instead of a pot.
After boiling, place it in an ice bath. This makes the shell peel off faster.
Quail eggs are delicate and might break if not handled carefully. Tap it lightly and roll it over without applying too much pressure to get rid of the shell.
Use a thin but sharp knife to slice or cut quail eggs.
Boiled quail eggs can be stored for up to a week or even pickled and preserved.
