Never accept the ride if the driver offers to drop you privately and not under the aegis of the app.
Never travel alone in an app cab if you are not feeling well or inebriated.
Always get up on the cab and share your current location with friends or family for easy tracking.
If your driver is too chatty, be polite, but never divulge too much about yourself.
Avoid hopping inside a shared app cab, especially after sunset or late night.
