Check out the all-new Bajaj Dominar 400 Matte Black Edition

What remains unchanged is the performance of the bike.

The Matte Black Edition further enhances the Dominar’s sporty appeal. It also gels well with Bajaj’s original advertising campaign: a bike for those who don’t sleep like little babies at night! After all, Bajaj Dominar 400 has ushered in a whole new level of touring experience for the masses, thanks to its superior performance. It is a bike that has earned the title of an affordable power-cruiser and still stands as one of the best looking  machines in its class.

Dark domination
The changes in the Matte Black Edition are mostly cosmetic; however, the new finish does give the bike a more premium look and should help drive the sales numbers even further. What remains unchanged is the performance of the bike. Powered by the 373cc motor that is based on the KTM Duke 390 mill, the vehicle benefits from Bajaj’s triple spark technology and delivers 35 PS at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. Mated to a six-speed gearbox, the Bajaj Dominar 400 is a responsive machine that can do the dash from 0-100 kmph under nine seconds. The ample amount of torque also makes it easy to cruise comfortably at three digit speeds.

Built to handle Indian riding conditions, the Dominar 400 has also proven its mettle as an able handler and makes it easy for the rider  to take corners while remaining in control. As far as the pricing  goes, the Matte Black Dominar 400 retails at `1,41,045 for the disc brake variant   and   `1,55,215 for the variant that comes with ABS.
