The all-new 2017 Street Triple RS boasts an aggressive styling coupled with performance parts and state of the art technology. The bike offers an incredible level of fit and finish. Adding to its appeal is the distinctive LED Daytime Running Lights and of course, the Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres which not only look great but also offer exceptional grip to suit the bike’s performance, both on the road and for occasional track use.

The vehicle gets a new instrument panel with a TFT display that includes two trip displays, average and instantaneous fuel consumption, riding mode selection, display style and contrast settings, service information, coolant temperature, warning symbol information and a lap timer.

Within the beast
Powering the machine is the race-bred ‘Daytona’ engine that displaces 765cc and is capable of churning out 123PS at 11,700 rpm and a peak torque of 77Nm at 10,800 rpm. The bike comes with five riding modes that include Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Programmable and Track. These are linked to the ride-by-wire system that adjusts throttle response, ABS and traction control settings to suit the chosen riding condition.

To ensure the very best in terms of ride and handling dynamics, the Street Triple RS comes with Showa big piston 41mm front forks that are adjustable for preload, rebound and compression damping. The rear benefits from a Öhlins STX40 piggyback reservoir mono-shock suspension. Stopping power on the bike is courtesy of Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc callipers on the front and Brembo single piston sliding calliper on the rear.
