Sporty inheritance: Volkswagen India launches new versions of Polo and Vento

Young consumers are now on the lookout for a car that fits their fast-paced lifestyle.

The upgraded Polo and Vento from Volkswagen carry a refreshed look that would appeal to this crowd for its sporty appeal.

From a design standpoint, both the variants carry a fresh front look that is inspired by the brand’s GTI performance-enhanced models.

The changes include the new honeycomb grille, sportier-looking front bumper, smoked rear taillights, a revised rear bumper with a diffuser, new body graphics, a GT Line badge, a black roof, black ORVM covers and a black spoiler.

With these changes, the cars look wider and more performance-oriented than before. 

As part of the GT Line package, customers also get a stunning new colour, namely Sunset Red.

This definitely makes these cars stand apart from the crowd and it also points to their sporty heritage that stems from the GTI series. 

In terms of technology onboard, the models now come with VW Connect as standard on the Highline Plus and GT variants.

This device allows you to access a plethora of information through your smartphone once it is paired with the device and the app is installed. 

Upping the game on customer satisfaction as well, the manufacturer has kicked off a comprehensive after-sales service program that includes a four-year/100,000 km warranty and roadside assistance for all their vehicles.

However, the diesel variants get a five-year standard warranty. This package also includes three free services. 

The Volkswagen Polo GT Line is priced at INR 9.76 and INR 9.88 lakh and the Vento GT Line at INR 13.17 lakh and INR 14.49 depending on the engine type.
