Hyderabad-based Creatif has collaborated with Tara Books to bring you a week-long pop-up offering art books for sale.
Kalakriti Book store and Creatif has put together a catalogue of art books summarising India’s art history in myriad ways – chronologically, regionally, by movements and collectives, or genre. Ranging from art, culture, architecture to history, some may appear in several volumes while others are stand-alone publications or smaller monographs. Consisting of thematic books as well as monographs on individual artists, they are well packaged, combining excellence in design and production standards with the finest instances of an artist’s oeuvre. Extensively illustrated, they have proved, over time, to be reference catalogues that trace the development and flow of pre-modern, modern art and contemporary art scene.
Tara Books is an independent publishing house started in 1994 by Gita Wolf. It is a collective of writers, artists and designers with a collaborative approach to publishing illustrated books.
