One of Indian rock’s strong pillars, Parikrama, puts out a video for the song titled Tears Of The Wizard. This is said to be their first official video in two decades.

The visuals directed by Sujit Jha and produced by Sanjiv Monga, have been captured from Arunachal Pradesh. The band decided to shoot at the destination after being invitees of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to play a concert at the MECHUKA Adventure Festival. As per the band, they wrote to the authorities of the state after the visit and the government agreed to sponsor the video for Tears Of The Wizard.

The song was written a while back for the act’s tour with British heavy metal legends, Iron Maiden. It is inspired by the Lords of The Rings Trilogy, The Two Towers and is dedicated to the wizard character, Gandalf the Grey.

The 28-year old band is known for being aggressively independent with their releases, having provided free access to most of their material. They have also performed on international stages like the UK-based Download Festival, invited by Iron Maiden.
