Irish rockers U2 are all set to play in India for the first time later this year as part of The Joshua Tree tour. The band, that was formed in 1976 in Dublin, consists of Bono (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), the Edge (lead guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion). Speaking to an Indian publication, frontman Bono said: "I hope it's good news (for fans in India). It certainly is good news for our band that we are coming to Mumbai on December the 15th. It's our first time in India and we are pretty excited."
