'A clean sweep this year, folks! Behold the history just made!' That's the message on the Instagram page @blackpageantqueens which is now going viral.

'This is the first time that the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA titles - which are all owned by the Miss Universe Organisation - have simultaneously been held by black and part-black queens!' says the message.

'And all sport their natural hair texture!' adds the message.

Videos of moments from the pageant in Atlanta, in which Zozibini Tunzi was crowned Miss Universe 2019, have been doing the rounds on social media, since Sunday.

Another video post on the page carried the message, "That moment when a(nother) 'black sleeper' wins the Miss Universe 2019 crown! As I wrote earlier today: 'Who is the 'black sleeper' in tonight's pageant?"

The post continues, "That overlooked black chick who will tonight surprise (non-black) folks as she rises to the occasion, rips the prediction lists of pageant 'experts' to shreds, and make (non-black) folks cuss out of frustration as she places high in this pageant? Maybe even snatch edges and win the crown?"

"The answer: she is Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa, Miss Universe 2019. Congratulations!" adds the message.

Earlier, India's 26-year-old Vartika Singh, who entered the top 20 of Miss Universe 2019, crashed out of the pageant, and failed to make it to the top 10 finalists.

The countries that made it to the top 10 include USA, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Iceland and Indonesia. Interestingly, this is the first time ever that Indonesia made it to the top 10 of the beauty pageant.

With fan greetings and messages doing the rounds on social media, Zozibini 'Zozi' Tunzi's profile has also been getting a lot of attention.

She was born in the village of Tsolo (population: 7,794) in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province, and raised in the nearby village of Sidwadweni (population: 498).

The 26-year-old beauty is pursuing her Bachelor's degree in public relations management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Zozi was the first woman from Eastern Cape ever to outright win the Miss South Africa title (and the second one to wear the crown after Ziphozakhe Zokufa, 1st runner up in 2014, ascended to the throne after winner Rolene Strauss won Miss World 2014).
