Veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan passes away at 81 in Canada

According to an earlier report, Kader Khan suffered from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), which is a degenerative disease that is said to cause a loss of balance, difficulty in walking.

Bollywood actor Kader Khan passed away at 81 on Tuesday in Canada, after he was admitted because he complained of breathlessness. The actor was put on a BiPAP ventilator and it was reported that he was unable to talk and even showed signs of pneumonia. The actor’s son Sarfaraz Khan said the funeral will be held in Canada, as all of their family is currently settled there. 

According to an earlier report, Kader Khan suffered from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), which is a degenerative disease that is said to cause a loss of balance, difficulty in walking among other things. Incidentally, Kader underwent several knee surgeries in 2017 but nothing was reportedly serious at the time. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a picture wishing the actor good health with prayers for his speedy recovery. 

Kader Khan is most popularly known for his comical roles in several Bollywood movies and he also went on to work as a writer in many of them. Although the actor was last seen in 2015 in Ho Gaya Deemag Ka Dahi, he had several blockbusters like Khoon Bhari Maang, Judwaa, Dulhe Raja, Biwi Ho To Aisi, Bol Radha Bol and more to his name.
