Bollywood's National Film Award-winning star John Abraham who made his debut film with Jism is now a producer of half a dozen movies. Recently in an interview, on being asked his opinion about social media and celebrity trolling, the Satyameva Jayate star had his set of answers straight from the heart.

Saying that he is not a hater of social media, John prefers to use it as an effective platform for social causes. ''There are a lot of good people on social forums and I appreciate their presence. But there’s so much hate and negativity there that it’s toxic. Read the comments for two hours and if you don’t feel sick, I’ll change my name,'' says the actor who will be soon seen in Robby Grewal's spy thriller movie Romeo Akbar Walter.

Wanting to take a break from the social media madness, John says that the celebrities were voluntarily asking to be trolled by wearing funny clothes and doing funny things outside airports. Saying that he would not dance at shows and weddings for money, he continued, ''I find it demeaning. I’m not saying that I’m right, but I wouldn’t do it, ever.''

The Madras Cafe actor is currently shooting for his upcoming action thriller movie Batla House directed by Nikkhil Advani. Paired alongside Mrunal Thakur in the lead role, John will be essaying the role of DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadhav. The movie is slated to hit screens on August 15, 2019.
