In a celebration of the biggest names in the music industry, especially for women, the Europe Music Awards this year, held in Seville, Spain, saw everything from Dua Lipa in a rocking opening act, to both Halsey and Taylor Swift picking up the biggest awards for the evening - Best Song and Best Video.

Halsey, Ava Max, Rosalía, Nicki Minaj and FKA Twigs were all winners, while the honour of Best Artist went to Shawn Mendes.

The Kings of K-Pop, BTS won three awards including Biggest Fans for their die-hard BTS Army. Legendary singer Liam Gallagher was honoured with the first-ever Rock Icon Awards.

From India, Prateek Kuhad, Emiway Bantai, Parikrama, Raja Kumari and Komorebi faced off in the ‘Best Indian Act’ category, with the honour ultimately going to Emiway Bantai, the hip-hop rapper from Mumbai, for his latest single Machayenge

From being a shy child, Bantai (Bilal Shaikh) discovered a love for rap music back in school and soon began writing his own songs and rapping them. His first song in English was Glint Lock, but it was his Hindi hip-hop number, Aur Bantai that shot him to fame, with over 2 million hits YouTube. Bantai was also a part of Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy
