Season 13 of the popular reality show "Bigg Boss" has been marked with controversy right from its launch, two weeks ago. Organisations such as the Confederation Of All India Traders (CAIT) have sought a ban on the show, raising objection over the concept of "Bed Friends Forever".
The Rajasthan-based organisation, Karni Sena has also reportedly filed a complaint against the show. The complaint was written to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar claiming that the show "Bigg Boss" is an insult to Hindu culture and traditions.
Whilst the complaints pile on, the Mumbai police have tightened the security outside the house of Salman Khan, who is the host of the reality show. Bollywood Hungama, an online publication reported that, at least 20 people were arrested on Friday for protesting outside Salman's house.
Updesh Rana, one of the protestors, uploaded a video of himself outside of Salman's house and threatened the actor and the producers to stop spreading obscenity in the Bigg Boss house. Many have alleged the show is obscene and is not a good representation of Indian culture.
