Director Zoya Akhtar’s latest movie, Gully Boy starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is continuing its successful run in the theatres. The film has already crossed Rs 50 crore in just a few days since its release.
According to latest reports, producers in the south are considering to do a remake of Gully Boy. As per reports, producer Allu Arvind is keen on remaking the movie in Telugu. And apparently, the producer is considering to rope in actor Sai Dharam Tej to do the role played by Ranveer Singh. However, an official announcement of the proceedings of the remake is yet to be made.
Gully Boy is inspired by the lives of real-life rappers Divine and Naezy. Not only in India, but the film opened at the International Berlin Film Festival to positive reviews from international media.
Featuring Kalki Koechlin, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Vijay Raaz and Vijay Varma in significant roles, Gully Boy is Zoya’s second collaboration with Ranveer after their 2015 film Dil Dhadakne Do.
