Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Captain Marvel 2, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange - fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have a lot to look forward to. And the latest addition to the list is a brand new Ant-Man movie.
“The Marvel world has really been a blast. I love them, I’m having a great time. We’re starting the third in the beginning of January 2021,” the 75-year-old actor said during an interaction with the media. Actor Paul Rudd will also be back as the titular superhero for the film, which will once again be directed by filmmaker Peyton Reed. Peyton directed the first two Ant-Man movies - Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018).
The film will also mark Paul's fifth outing as the superhero, having previously donned the suit in the two Ant-Man films, Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). Besides Douglas and Rudd, actress Evangeline Lilly is also expected to reprise her role as Hope van Dyne aka Wasp.
Reportedly, the film will be produced by Kevin Feige and is expected to release in 2022.
