The big fat Indian wedding

My week started with the bi-annual ‘Fusion and Fashion Party’ at Neeru’s, Jubilee Hills. Hosted by socialites Suchita Ahuja and Manisha Kapoor, this do was quite the blast! The P3Ps bonded over their favourite fashion designers and trends of the moment. 

On Friday, the much-anticipated nuptials of designer Shriya Bhupal and the rising star of Indian motorsport, Anindith Reddy got hitched after their much-talked-about pre-wedding bash at Paris. The party was bound to be a star-studded one, as it was the coming together of two of the most eminent families in the city. They tied the knot in a traditional Telugu wedding at HITEX Exhibition Center. Many prominent personalities including Sushanth, Pinky Reddy, Kamini Saraf and actress Pragya Jaiswal were spotted.

On Saturday, stylist Anam Mirza hosted The Label Bazaar Season 7 at Park Hyatt. The glowing mum-to-be Sania Mirza was also present at the do to support her sister. Shopaholics had a whale of a time exploring high-fashion labels like Ritu Kumar and Arab Crab from Dubai and Gauahargeous by Gauahar Khan, looking absolutely chic. 

Meanwhile, I headed to the celebration of Kalamandir Foundation’s 10th anniversary, as part of CSR initiative to support and help handloom weavers at Cyber Conventions. The occasion was graced by actor Vijay Devarakonda.

Later that evening, Oakwood Residence Kapil Hyderabad celebrated their third year anniversary in collaboration with wine enthusiast Jyotiee Balani and renowned fashion designer Amit GT. I attended the launch party of KALEDO curated by The Luxe Affairs Sofiya Octraine and Funkytown at Jubiless Hils. The deck underneath and the rooftop reverberated the latest tracks doles out by in-house DJ.

On Sunday, Prominent Jewellery Designer Swetha Reddy unveiled her 2nd Jewellery Store Hiyaa and Laasya at Dr AS Rao Nagar. Actress Regina Cassandra graced the occasion and unveiled the store.
