The photo booth at Our Place at Banjara Hills was teeming with the young and restless for a reason ­— Sanskruti Ladies Club hosted the Master Chef event for its 120 members at the banquet hall. Former Master Chef contestant Smita Dugar helmed the event, which had 80 participants in 10 teams. They were judged based on their culinary skills, the taste of the dishes and its plating. The aroma of the delicacies added an extra dimension to the rain-soaked evening.

Shopaholics were then seen hobnobbing at the launch of Udaharan by Kanchan Goel Ganpathi in Banjara Hills. The store has a collection of fashion clothing includes traditional bridal lehengas, floor-length anarkalis, breezy casuals, ethnic tunics and unstitched dress materials, along with the latest collection of fancy designer jewellery. Thursday saw fashion designer Shilpa Reddy, socialite Sailaja Reddy, FICCI —YFLO Chairperson Vinita Surana, interior designer Padma Somireddy unveil designer Sneha Reddy Jewellery brand and inaugurate her two-day Jewellery Show at Picture Den studios. Models walked the ramp as socialites Soumiya, Reeta Agarwal, Swetha checked out the latest in jewellery.

Friday started with the live performance of The Sa Re Ga Ma Pa-fame singer Raman Kapoor at Raasta Cafe. The singer serenaded the audience with well-known pop numbers and the guests were seen enjoying his performance with a variety of quick bites from North Indian, Italian and Chinese cuisines. The event had all the favourites of Hyderabadis  — food, music and great weather.

On Saturday, P3Ps headed to Hyderabad Central mall to experience India’s sought-after beauty pageant, Miss Diva 2018,  that hosted its talent hunt for the wildcard entry. The day-long audition witnessed an overwhelming response from the city as always. While the first round was walking the ramp, the second round entailed the contestants answering a few questions put forward to them by the judges. The winners, who stole the show with their beauty, poise, elegance and intelligence, will be representing the city in the final round, to be held in Mumbai.
