Road Trip Community Kochi will conduct a one-day road trip of 100 kilometres this weekend. The drive that starts from the city will move to Trissur and visit two lesser-known monsoon destinations. First on the list is Thoomanam Fall, a wonder of nature hidden from the public eye and coming alive during monsoon. The second destination is Asurakundu, a small dam inside the Peechi-Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary. Asurankundu, surrounded by the forest, offers a serene view of a reservoir, palmyra palms, birds and fishes. the heck dam is situated 30 km from Thrissur and can be entered through a small forest road. Entry to the dam water is restricted, but the team will take a short hike around the waterbody to grab some pictures.
Post lunch, the group will return to Kochi. Below is the Itinerary:
