Tell us a little about Manyavar's newest wedding collection. What does the line-up look like?

Manyavar’s timeless celebration collection includes exquisite Sherwanis, fine Indo-Westerns, Royal Bandhgalas, classic Kurta-Jackets, and fashion kurtas. We have introduced an array of cuts, prints, colors, and patterns that weren’t generally available in groom’s ceremonial options. Unusual and on-trend colour schemes like pastels, have acquired a large space in men’s ethnic wear range.

The collection is a mix of regal elegance & edgy refinement, to fit all traditional yet contemporary looks. Ranging from structured silhouettes to antiquated zardozi embroidery, the range is specially curated for the modern man.

As a celebration wear brand, what has been Manyavar's biggest focus?

Manyavar on its part has acted as an ethnic catalyst in the country. By starting an entire non-existent category of men’s ethnic wear in the country, we have done our bit by providing consumers with a wide variety of options in terms of designs, colours, and cuts across various categories.

Our plan is to transcend cultural and ethnic sensibilities to establish Indianwear as a widely accepted and preferred clothing not only in India but at a global level. We understand that this calls for fresh ideas, innovative products, and even new sections, and as the category widens, it will certainly help in the development of our brand.

We have also introduced a premium wear brand called 'Twamev', which caters to the upmarket customer looking for an honestly priced substitute for designer wear in India.

What are millennial looking for when it comes to wedding apparel and festive dressing?

A millennial's wardrobe is evolving and getting a lot more daring, more individualistic with more and more people embracing quirky styles and unique cuts. We've introduced some fun prints, designs, and colours that are in sync with the season's trends. The range exhibits asymmetric hemlines, statement modish prints, and off-beat colour palettes resulting in more contemporary ensembles for the season.

What are some of your best-sellers?

Initially, our main focus was on groomswear but with time we have also forayed into celebration and festive wear. From sherwanis to Indo-westerns and kurta-jackets, they all do really well.

Can you tell us something about the price range of the new collection?

Our kurta-jacket range starts from Rs. 6999 and goes till Rs. 49999 for Sherwanis.
