Bengaluru-based Advaya from The House of Angadi, which made news for being the creator of Deepika Padukone’s bridal saris, has now unveiled a new collection for the wedding season. Called Advaya 2019 Chapter 1, the range includes Kanjivarams, jamdhani and Kota weaves. Featuring a mix of paisley, floral and geometric motifs done with real gold zari and silk, the colour story is a vibrant one with hues like plain gold with hints of cream, olive green, deep green with magenta, fuchsia pink with gold and vermilion with bright pink. Designed completely by designer Radharaman, the saris are unique and bear motifs and design elements that are different from other Kanjivarams with traditional detailing.

"The Advaya 2019 Chapter1 comprises unique one-of-a-kind saris that are meant for a variety of special occasions. Whether for a bride looking for the most exquisite heirlooms for her trousseau or an aficionado who wants to collect saris that need not be put away after being worn just once. The pieces like all Advayas are woven in limited numbers. The organza Kanjivarams, linen Kanjivarams, brocade Kota and muslin Jamdanis are both glamourous and weightless, woven using the finest and the purest gold zari," says designer Radharaman.
