Houston, we have some really cool shoes! The sportswear brand Puma, recently introduced the Puma Space Explorer Pack to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. And it is sure to be a hit with everyone from streetwear lovers and sneaker collectors, to those who’s just like to look good.
The range, which includes two new pairs of sneakers, has a futuristic design language, metallic accents, iridescent detailing and bold branding. The aesthetic takes cues from spacesuits and spacecrafts. The three sneakers have a chunky silhouette, in keeping with current trends. A reinterpretation of the classic 90s Puma Cell Alien Space Agency features a mix of black mesh, iridescent patent and matte black overlays. The NASA logo is printed on the toe overlay and it is finished with a 3D logo on the tongue. The RS 9.8 Space Agency on the other hand, has a white ripstop base with moon-textured silver overlays. The sneakers also feature the print of the NASA logo on the midsole and come with a metallic silver tongue.
In addition, PUMA Space Explorer Pack also hoodies and t-shirts with retro-inspired graphic prints and bold NASA vintage logos, which are expected to hit stores in the near future.
