Singaporean footwear brand Charles & Keith has just announced the launch of its first collection of sustainable sneakers. And we’re totally crushing on them! Chic, edgy and minimalistic, the collection, titled 4WARD, has three options to choose from. All three styles are versatile and designed to suit everything from casual off-duty looks to party wear.
Crafted from 30 percent bamboo carbon fibre, the shoes boast enhanced breathability and moisture absorption. In addition, the snug sock-like fit ensures comfort and the absence of laces allows you to slip them on and off with ease.
Other features include an EVA foam outsole made with 20 percent algae (which captures CO2 from the atmosphere) and the use of 100 percent water-based glue to hold the different parts of the shoe together.
The three new options include the knitted high top slip-on in black with a flourescent green accent above the heel, the knitted slip on sneakers in light grey with a dash of shocking pink at the back and the snake print knitted slip-on sneakers, which also has a pop of bright red.
