Three city-based entrepreneurs — Ankita Sanghi, Nandita Sureka and Sakshi Goenka, met around two years ago and talked about the paucity of sustainable brands that work for young mothers. That’s where the idea of this expo was born. We spoke to Nandita, who moved here from Kolkata two years ago with her newborn. She shares, “I thought there should be more shows for mom and their babies. Hence, we decided to start something last year. We want all the moms to shop with their kids and spend some quality time together.” Some of the womenswear brands worth checking out are Mumbai-based Kaayaa, a label that attempts to bridge the gap between traditional Indian wear with relaxed silhouettes. Also check out bespoke brand Bloom, helmed by Delhi-based Aarti Mittal, who specialises in contemporary and chic ensembles like dresses with bell sleeves, lacy little black dresses and detailed and feminine white shirts. The designer will also be bringing her layered cold-shouldered shirts to the pop-up.

One can also find a host of eco-friendly and plant-based skincare essentials from Cocomo Naturals. This Mumbai-based brand is coming to the city for the first time and will offer a paraben and sulphate-free skincare and hair range. Expect a host of body washes, hair oils, creams, moisturiser and sunscreen that can be used by children as well. And while you are browsing, check out quirky baby accessories by Mumbai-based brands Aye Candy, that is bringing a host of double bow hair ties and headbands for the little ones.

Rs 200 to Rs 8,000.
At Park Hyatt Hyderabad.
September 14, 11 am.
