If you’re one of those hit by the floral avalanche featured in SS17 collections from across the brands, we have news for you. Mumbai-based Label Life has collaborated with popular creamery Magnum to craft an ‘Unleash Your Wild Side’ collection. Featuring of a feisty range of apparels, accessories and décor items, the line features motifs and prints inspired by animals. While we are still baffled by the ice cream plus couture alliance, Malaika, who helms the apparel section of the brand, is quick to provide us with some perspective over Magnum’s presence in the international fashion scenario. “They have been associated with world
renowned International designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Zac Posen as well as fashion brands like BCBG Max Azria. When they looked at putting a foot forward in India, we were a natural fit,” explains the model turned actress, who’s been a regular at ramps of Lakme Fashion Week and Amazon Fashion Week.

Fierce factor
Put together with her experience at various labels including Elle and L’officiel, Preeta Sukhtankar’s multi-brand platform has been the go-to spot for those on the lookout for Bollywood inspired looks.
“Both Label Life and Magnum share a commitment towards a trend-forward, stylish, and desirable lifestyle. The ‘Unleash Your Wild Side’ campaign is about inspiring women to release their wild side. The animals featured in the campaign are a metaphor of this intense and empowered persona that lives in all of us,” shares Sussanne Khan, the home décor curator at the two-year-old brand. Though the  Bollywood divas  started out with three different labels in the beginning—named thehomelabel.com, theclosetlabel.com and thetrunklabel.com—they have been collaborating under Label Life since 2015.

Glitterati’s pick
Hailed as the muse for elite designers including Falguni and Shane Peacock, Bipasha Basu is always on point when it comes to trends. Stressing on the need for curating for the Indian skin tone, Bipasha explains, “The bags, shoes, scarves and jewellery in this particular ensemble are inspired by Magnum’s colours which include brown, gold and white.” Unveiled last week at Four Seasons, Worli, their limited edition collection sports embellishments including feathers and tassels whereas the materials highlight denim, sheer crepe and satin. As for the unique detailings present in the ensemble, we recommend their sleeveless pleated tops with self-tie bows.

Accessories from`800 onwards
