Slow fashion enthusiasts who want to beat the heat in indigenous weaves, here’s something of interest to you. The Good Loom by the sustainable marketplace GoCoop is showcasing their Spring/Summer 2018 Collection at Taj Deccan this weekend. “The latest collection is all about global influences and a modern take on traditional craftsmanship,” says Siva Devireddy, CEO & Founder of GoCoop, who originally hails from Hyderabad.

The highlight of this three-day expo is that the Bengaluru-based label has an equally extensive collection for men this time. “Not many Indian brands have explored the menswear range in sustainable fashion and we wanted to change that,” asserts Siva. Post the exhibition, the collection will be available on their e-portal, gocoop.com/thegoodloom which went live last month.

While the women can shop for saris and stoles at the ongoing Good Loom Show, the men can choose from an array of casual and ethnic wear. Ladies, expect to find ikkats, PochampallyMaheshwaris and Bengal jamdanis as well. The men can check out shirts, kurtas, trousers, and jackets. Crafted from breathable cotton and khadi and muslin, the ensembles come in summer-friendly hues like pale blue, salmon pink and mustard.

Rs 2,500 onwards for saris.
