With just a few weeks left for the New Year’s Eve, the Pantone Color Institute has announced that its 2020 Color of The Year is PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, a deep blue shade.
According to the official website, this variation of blue was chosen for the fact that it instils “calm, confidence, and connection” and that the blue hue “highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build as we cross the threshold into a new era.”
Pantone’s Color of the Year sets the tone of all the upcoming designs across different fields like home goods, gadgets, make-up and all categories of shopping.
As part of its marketing campaign, Pantone reportedly partnered with several brands to develop the smell, sound, taste, and texture of Classic Blue.
