Provenance, a luxury gifting store and coffee house, recently opened its doors in Bengaluru. The third outlet in the country, after Palladium and Bandra in Mumbai, the boutique was brought to Bengaluru by Avani Raheja and Samir Gadhok of Burgundy Hospitality, the company responsible for introducing India to Royce (a premium Japanese chocolate brand) in 2012; Papabubble (handcrafted gourmet candy from Barcelona) in 2016 and Onitsuka Tiger (the iconic Japanese lifestyle fashion brand) in 2017.

“At Provenance, we want to offer the perfect gift for a thoughtful and discerning individual. We have handpicked each product with one theme in mind - does this product embody the love, history or magic of the maker? We are passionate about telling stories and Provenance is the story of the maker and their origins, craftsmanship, and passion,” says Avani.

Located at UB City, the store is spread across 750 square feet and boasts a well-curated collection of luxury products such as TWG Tea from Singapore, Coco from Scotland, Dolfin from Belgium and Maxim's from Paris. The shop is also equipped with a coffee and snack bar, serving artisanal coffee and cakes. Designed by Zameer Basrai of the The Busride Design Studio, it is manned by ‘gift-stylists’ who are trained in the art of curating and personalising gift baskets.
