It’s celebration time for all the foodies in the city as Aloft Hotel is organising a brand-new festival. Their latest event, which begins today, focuses on Indian street food. The fete has an elaborate array of fare from various parts of North and South India—with a special selection of international favourites in live food stations.
Say namaste
This section is all about chaat varieties like pani puri, bhel puri, and dahi puri which have made its way across North India. Other specials available are aloo tikki, papri chaat, samosa and kachori.
Savour the South
Expect items like semi-dry kaalan (mushrooms) and hot dosa variants including ghee, rava, masala and podi. Egg specialities like kalakki, karandi and different types of omelette will also be available.
Global favourites
To cater to foodies who have a yearning for internationally popular delicacies, this food fest will also have an array of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian pizzas, burgers and sandwiches along with various rolls like egg, chicken, paneer, and noodle wraps.
Dinner, done right!
Apart from the wide variety of street food, the hotel’s 24/7 diner Dot. Yum also offers a non-vegetarian four-course meal. This includes fish, chicken, tandoor specials, and an egg biryani. Vegetarians can choose from fourteen dishes including paneer, dal and pulao varieties. For those looking to end their meal on a sweet note, there are twelve desserts including gulab jamun, pudding, and ice creams.
