Speculations on the One Plus 8 Lite, the company's attempt at a mid-range segment entry

The OnePlus 8 Lite is expected to be an affordable version of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The new variant could be priced under INR 30,000. The phone is scheduled to launch alongside the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the first half of next year.

According to many tech sites, One Plus is apparently looking to embrace CES this year, and it’s already teasing some sort of surprise for the Las Vegas-based show. The brand's CEO Pete Lau took to Twitter to tease the event, without revealing any other details, in typical OnePlus hype-building fashion.

The OnePlus 8 Lite is said to feature a flat display that will measure  between 6.4-inch and 6.5-inch  with an in-display fingerprint sensor.The phone will feature a USB Type-C port, but a 3.5mm headphone jack is absent.

The camera sensors are accompanied by a laser autofocus module, while the LED flash sits at the bottom.The phone is said to pack a flat display with a hole-punch, although much of the specs hasn't been released as of now.
