Indians love sleeping! The more they sleep, the more productive they get, particularly if they are allowed power naps at work. While most may wonder what's new about this, here's a study that validates this statement.

Wakefit.co an online sleep solutions start-up conducted a pan-India survey and the results show that 86% of the Indian workforce performs better when allowed to take a nap. The survey, titled, 'Right to Work Naps' was answered by over 1500 respondents. It showed how 70% of people who  didn’t have a nap room at their workplaces were less productive. While,  86% of  the  respondents confirmed that a nap room would help improve overall productivity .

The survey also shed light on how 41% of the participants suffered from irregular sleep patterns. Apart from these findings, the survey analysed how constant state of work anxiety was one of the primary reasons behind hampered sleep among most working Indians. However, drinking coffee or tea, taking a short walk, washing the face and starting non work conversation with colleagues are ways through which people try to stay awake.

Therefore, as an answer to the question 'Nap rooms could be our true saviour at work?' most participants esponded saying they believe it could be. 86% of the participants strongly believe a nap room will increase productivity.
