The wellness festival Fit Bengaluru is back with its second edition. To be held at UB City and Cubbon Park, the two-day event will have 30 workouts and talks, a 5k run, aqua activities and a market for health food and fitness products.

After receiving an overwhelming response to their first edition held in February, which saw over 500 participants, organisers expect a bigger footfall this time around.

Some of the activities participants can sign up for are kickboxing, zumba, aqua aerobics, talks on nutrition, skin care, mindful eating and balancing the chakras. Fitness experts who will be part of the event include Drew Neal (world kickboxing champion and personal trainer to celebrities like Farhan Akhtar and Kareena Kapoor Khan); Swetha Subbiah (founder of SWEAT by Swetha & Nike brand ambassador India); Delson Joy D’Souza (founder of India’s biggest movement fitness facility, Chaos Faktory, and participant in Sylvester Stallone’s Ultimate Beastmaster); Urmi Kothari (founder of Kinetic Living, with over 20 years of experience in sports, functional training, animal flow, kettlebell training, professional dance, yoga, Pilates, kalaripayattu and running).

“We need to change our approach to fitness, health and wellbeing to make them integral parts of our lives. Instead of looking at the hour-long session at the gym as a chore, can we think of it as a fun way to destress after a long day at work? At the event, you can explore and find new fun forms of exercise to kill the monotony of regular workouts,” says Festival Director, Carun Carumbiah.

Price: Day Pass Rs.900; 2-day pass Rs.1,600, 5K Run Rs.500

July 13 & 14. Morning session: 7 am – 12 noon; Afternoon session: 1 pm – 6 pm.
