For wellness entrepreneur Nandeeta Manchanda the journey to establishing her own wellness brand was shaped by a deeply personal incident. After she lost a close friend to skin cancer, she began researching various options that weren’t too laden with chemicals and synthetic dyes. During that process, she came across several interesting ideas about natural alternatives that were chemical and toxin-free, which led to the birth of Enn’s Closet in 2017.

Now the beauty brand, known for their face masks and glow-boosting moisturisers — their most popular one includes ingredients like ghee and saffron-infused water —  has launched a series of haircare masks and styling solutions. The first thing we notice is that they are not tested on animals and is completely Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Paraben-free. So apart from being much less harmful for your hair, they’re more eco-friendly as well.

“At Enn’s, the products get recreated with new formulations every season using fresh fruit and plant extracts, infusions of rare essential oils,” says the New Delhi-based founder. Their masks and serums that have been launched include ingredients like hyaluronic acid, keratin and silk protein, along with coconut milk, flax seeds, amla and reetha, among others. “These local ingredients have been used by our grandparents and their mothers for years now. All I did was to add a few modern twists,” says Nandeeta. One of the new masks you might want to check out is their Fix- Style Enhancing Hair milk, formulated with coconut milk, protein-rich ingredients and helps with holding styled hair in place. The wheat protein and lavender essential oil that prevents the scalp from drying and promises to help with fizziness. When you want to pamper your tresses on an odd day, you can opt for the Keratin Custard — Keratin Replenishing Hair Mask. Apart from keratin and hyaluronic acid, this one is comes with argan and castor for deep hydration. “These are the top picks from the haircare range we launched and might help with all the festive hairstyling that you would want to do,” shares Nandeeta, adding that it is better to let your tresses soak in the goodness of natural products than tame them down forcefully with loads of chemicals.
