MV Agusta is present in India through Motoroyale—an initiative by Kinetic that is looking at setting up a multi-brand chain of retail and service for high-end motorcycles. The company recently launched the Brutale 800 and it is touted to become their best-selling model. The bike ushers in a new level of premium motorcycling thanks to its on-road mannerisms as well as its ability to perform seamlessly on a racetrack.

This exotic Italian thoroughbred has earned the distinction of being the ‘best Brutale ever’ as it captures the very essence of what the brand stands for and combines that with cutting-edge technology, performance and beauty. It will be assembled in India as it is being brought in as an SKD (semi-knocked down) unit.

Need for speed

The two-wheeler comes with a 798 cc inline three cylinder engine that is capable of developing 109 hp of max power and a peak torque of 89 Nm. The bike also features an eight-level traction control which allows the rider to set up the bike to their liking for an engaging ride while keeping things safe. The Brutale 800 boasts a top speed of 237 kmph.
The design and styling of the MV Agusta Brutale 800 is new, however, there are elements that are tied to its origins yet it embraces numerous futuristic design touches such as the LED elliptical headlamp and the light alloy chassis. Other design elements that make the bike stand apart from the 800 cc offerings are the three-pipe exhaust, trapezoidal tank and its aggressive stance. It is priced at `15.59 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).
