Former F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan bought a brand new 911 GT3 and took delivery at the Porsche Centre in Mumbai.

Porsche had launched the 911 GT3 in October last year and it costed ₹ 2.3 crore. However, the car in Guards Red colour bought by Karthikeyan cost him a lot more because his car has been heavily customised.

Karthikeyan opted for the Clubsport package which has the GT3 sport bucket sets and the Sport Chrono package which inclues Porsche Track Precision app and lap trigger preparation. The car, clearly is built for some exemplary track performance and we can so imagine the former F1 driver taking it out for a spin.

The Porsche 911 GT3 comes with a standard aero package, larger wheels and smoked headlamps with the distinctive four-point LED DRLs while the biggest addition to it is the massive rear wing that provides tonnes of downforce. The chassis has been revised with rear-axle steering and the lightweight construction aids in improved driving dynamics. Providing comfort, the car comes with auto climate control, and for entertainment, there is Bose surround sound system and a touchscreen infotainment unit.
