With two product showcases and a future mobility concept at the upcoming Auto Expo that will be held in New Delhi in February 2018, Mercedes-Benz shifts into aggressive mode. Based on three distinct product attributes namely luxury, versatility, and future mobility, these three cars are a clear indication of the direction that Mercedes-Benz is set to take in the country.

Epitome of luxury
Set to make its Indian debut is the ultra-sophisticated Mercedes-Maybach S650 sedan. As the name suggests, this luxury sedan stands at the pinnacle of exclusivity and luxury as it combines the best that the S-Class has to offer with the Maybach tag which includes an added layer of perfection and quality. This includes the powerful engine, creature comforts and cutting-edge technology on board.

Versatile wheels
The Mercedes-Benz E-Class All Terrain is a luxury crossover that combines the abilities of an SUV with the comfort and convenience of a luxury sedan. It gets a higher ground clearance, big 19-inch wheels, and the iconic 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. To ensure that it can handle a bit of dirt, the luxury crossover also gets extra panelling and an underride guard. This vehicle will make its Indian debut later in 2018.

Future favourite
As the world is looking at sustainable mobility solutions, the Mercedes-Benz Concept EQ stands as a testament to what the company thinks is the future of electric mobility. The name EQ stands for ‘Electric Intelligence’ and products under this brand are part of the long-term strategy for India. After all, India is looking at going electric in a big way and the brand has a clear agenda to deliver on this front with products that create a sustainable ecosystem of services, technologies and innovations.
