Tangy Sessions
If you’re looking for an NYE party with some adventure away from the bustling city, Tangy Sessions has you covered. The music and art initiative has a three-day camping trip in Polam (80 km from Hyderabad). The trip includes activities like camping, bonfire with live music, board games, farming and lake walks, along with delicious food cooked in traditional ways from fresh farm produce.

Tabula Rasa
If you’re planning to spend your New Year’s Eve with a beer and regional music, Tabula Rasa is the place to be. City-based regional band, Merakee, that boasts trained instrumentalists who have worked in the Telugu film industry, will be playing hit tracks of Oscar award-winning music director AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja. Tickets: Rs.9,000 (couple). 8 pm onwards.

The Moonshine Project
Dance the night away to hit Telugu tracks as city-based regional band, Jammers, perform at The Moonshine Project. Apart from their soulful vocals, the five-member all-boy outfit is known for their popular covers including  Vintunnava from Ye Maaya Chesave and Penimiti from Aravindha Sametha. Tickets: Rs.9,000. 8 pm onwards. 

Heart Cup Coffee
Arpit Chourey’s four-member band, Paradise Circus, known for their Indie folk and country music, will be performing at Heart Cup Coffee. Expect tunes from the band’s first EP, Simple Stories, and popular English numbers including those from The Lumineers.  Tickets: Rs.1,199. 7 pm onwards.

Rendezvous
Dutch DJ Dwayne Megens, better known by his stage name D-Wayne, will be taking over the console at Rendezvous’s One Night In Amsterdam, this NYE. The house music DJ and record producer is known for his single Quantum (2013) that appeared on DJ Afrojack’s 2014 album Forget The World. Apart from D-Wayne, the themed-party also has a special audio-visual set for the night, organised by the city’s DJ LilD. Tickets: Rs.2,499. 7.30 pm onwards.

Stone Waters — Kitchen & Lounge
If you’re looking for an energetic set to dance to this weekend, Stone Waters is the place to be. Chandigarh-based band Arzz is all set to take you on a musical journey with their Bollywood covers some of the latest songs. Along with Hindi film music, expect some originals covering sufi, retro and Indipop. 7.30 pm onwards.
