Looking back at The BRITs memorable moments

It's never a quiet evening when it comes to the BRIT Awards, filled with some of the most action packed moments. The 38th Brit Awards will be held in February 2018 at the O2 arena in London and will be hosted by Jack Whitehall.

This award has seen it all, and there's bound to be a long list of memorable moments on the 2018 show. Here’s a quick peak into a few:

Michael Jackson's gets an unwanted visitor during his performance (1996)

The King Of Pop performed at the Brits in 1996 and what happened was unforgettable for not just the viewers but MJ himself. While performing 'Earth Song', Pulp front man Jarvis Cocker stormed the stage and pointed his bum at MJ. He was later removed by security and was arrested after the show. The accused claimed that he'd been upset by the pop icon's choice to make himself appear Christ-like during the performance.

2. Justin Timberlake invites a superstar partner (2003)

The Brit awards are famous for spectacular performances especially the live collaborations, whether it's Rihanna and Klaxons, Dizzee Rascal and Florence Welch or the Bedingfield siblings teaming up for a love song.
However, Justin Timberlake and Kylie Minogue's performance of 'Rapture' makes it to everyone’s favorite spot with their sizzling chemistry

Madonna tumbles (2015)

Madonna's first BRITs performance and all it's remembered for is for her massive fall.  During her performance of Living For Love, a dancer stood on her giant cape and she took a tumble.

The mismatched hosts (1989)

Considered as the worst hosting performance in Brits history, this mismatched pairing of the page three model and ageing rock star proved to be a disaster. The autocue broke down, the pair repeatedly hashed their lines, leading to a terrible mix up on stage.

When it popped out… (1997)

Ginger Spice Geri took to the stage in a dress that left little to the imagination. However, the audience didn’t need much imagination when she tripped on a red gown and suffered a wardrobe malfunction.

Halliwell's live birth extravaganza (2000)

Gezza’s exciting beginning to her performance in the middle of a pair of giant legs, being born out of the bits of a giant, partially dismembered Ginger Spice.

Celebrating the return of booze on Brits (2004)

They banned alcohol for a number of years but they got it back in style. Presenter Cat Deeley mounted a Jereboam-crushing bottle of champers to mark the show well and truly open.

Adele not so subtle outburst (2012)

Adele was cut off by James Corden while giving her acceptance speech for Best Album, because the live televised show was behind schedule. She flashed her middle finger at the cameras before storming off as Corden said quickly: "Ladies and gentleman, it's Blur."

To catch all the action from 2018 Brit Awards exclusively on Indian television, tune in to Vh1, on February 26, 8 pm onwards.
