Majolly Music Trust hosts a concert series in Bengaluru

These concerts are fund-raisers for the Trust's various outreach programmes

The Majolly Music Trust hosts a concert series on October 28 and November 18 featuring pianists Neecia Majolly and Aman Mahajan respectively. The founder of the trust, Neecia Majolly will be performing a solo Western classical piano and music theatre set. Neecia has won many awards and also formed several choirs, such as The Camerata (now known as The Majolly Music Trust Choir) and Madrigals, Etc., which is the only choir in India specialising in music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance eras.

Bengaluru-based Aman Mahajan will be performing his own compositions that is titled Refuge.1, which is contemporary improvisation. Because he has worked with musicians hailing from different nationalities, backgrounds and musical genres, Aman’s work is influenced by traditional and contemporary forms of music from around the world.

These concerts are fund-raisers for the Trust's various outreach programmes that include a unique pension fund for aged and infirm musicians, children's choir for the underprivileged, and scholarships for low- income students.

Both these concerts are in association with Theme and Kawai Pianos.
