Stan Lee, the creative force behind the Marvel comics brought to life the most famous heroes and villains like Captain America Spider-Man, The Hulk, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Thor, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, The Avengers, Loki, and Dr. Doom.
The former president and the Chairman of Marvel comics was born in New York and began his venture into the world of comics in 1939. He has since then left an indelible mark in the industry. His creations went on to be made into books, films, video games, webs series and even Broadway shows that has brought him legions of fans.
To celebrate the Marvel icon’s birthday, we’ve come up with his special cameos in the Marvel movies. Did you recognize him in all?
Hulk (2003)
Her, he grabs a drink that’s infused with Bruce Banner’s blood.
Fantastic four (2005)
Lee appears as mailman Willie Lumpkin, a character he created in the comics, he greets the fantastic four as they enter the building
X men last stand (2006)
Lee comes in as the neighbor and gets weirded out while Jean Grey uses her Telekinesis.
Ironman (2008)
Surrounded by the ladies, he gets mistaken for Hugh Hefner by Tony Stark
Big Bang Theory (2010)
Sheldon is excited about Stan Lee coming to the comic book store, but he misses the signing. So penny finds Stan Lee’s address and Sheldon uses Stan’s sarcasm to get into his house.
Captain America (2011)
Lee plays a WWII general at a press conference for Captain who gets confused and mistakes another man for Captain.
Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)
Lee pops up as a military vet who must be carried away getting too drunk Asgardian liquor at a victory party and is seen muttering the signature word “Excelsior”.
Spiderman homecoming (2017)
In this movie, you can see Lee plays as a man called Gary, who’s seen yelling out a window at Spiderman. He warns Spider-Man, "Don't make me come down there you punk," after Spiderman causes a ruckus with a man trying to break into his own car.
Guardians of the galaxy 2 (2017)
Lee is seen dressed as an astronaut telling stories to three celestial beings, which are also known as watchers. He’s heard telling the story about the time when he was a mailman.
Thor Ragnarok (2017)
He comes in during the scene wearing some armbands that have sharp ends, to cut off Thor’s hair.
