Kangana Ranaut injured on set, rushed to hospital
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut had a ligament torn in her foot on the set of her new movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi while performing a stunt
The stunt took place in fort Mehrangarh, Jodhpur, a spokesperson told reporters, and the scene was one where her character jumps off a 40 feet wall onto a horse with her child on her back. The injury came from a move that she made to protect the child, who came out of the incident with no injury.
Kangana was immediately rushed to the hospital, where an X-ray found the torn ligament.
Filming for the film has been stalled until the actor has healed.
On Wednesday, the actor was spotted at the airport posing from a wheelchair with her blue plaster cast.
