Harshita Dahiya, the Haryanvi singer and dancer was shot dead by unknown assailants few days back. Now, her brother-in-law has admitted his involvement in the murder during police interrogation, according to reports. Dinesh was produced in Panipat court and is being sent to four-day police custody.
A day after Dahiya's death, her sister had alleged that her husband plotted to get Dahiya killed because she was the prime witness in their mother's murder. The police applied to the court for a production warrant of Dinesh who was lodged in Jhajjar jail. Apart from Dinesh, the police have not made any other arrest in connection with Harshita's murder.
