Akshay Kumar’s navy uniform costume in 2016 movie Rustom will be on auction soon but the announcement has angered quite a few people on social media. After Twinkle Khanna posted about the auction on Twitter, many people said she was insulting the uniform and once user was an armyman by the name of Sandeep Ahlawat.

Sandeep replied to Twinkle Khanna’s tweet on Facebook and went on to state many reasons as to why auctioning the uniform was wrong. Among them was that it is not the real uniform and just a costume and wives of Indian Armed forces will never sell the costume. The user went on to state that producers are not the ones who hand over the uniform, but it is the President of India. However, the situation escalated when he said that he would take Twinkle Khanna to court and that he would give her a bloody nose, if she auctioned it off.

Twinkle, known as FunnyBones on Twitter, immediately responded to question if it was alright to threaten a woman with bodily harm She said she was trying to raise funds by auctioning a piece of film memorabilia only and said she would be taking legal action and would not resort to violent threats.

The user, Sandeep Ahlawat, has once again responded to her and said that any professional soldier would be sensitive and touchy about the wrongful representation of a military uniform and regalia. He went on to say that her using the woman card and bodily harm has been called out by her own countrymen and ardent fans and followers and went on to state that she has broken the law on two accounts by putting the uniform on auction.

While Twinkle Khanna has been known to respond aptly, the online fight between the two does not seem to die down soon and Sandeep has gone on to say that he will not hesitate to defend his country’s honour if she does take it to court.
