Actor John Abraham who is gearing up for his next release Satyameva Jayate has raised a pertinent question about women in India. The actor who has been promoting his film that is the story about a vigilante who handles things his own way, said in an interview to a tabloid, "We're one of the few countries where we disrobe a woman by just looking at her."
John plays the role of Veer, a vigilante, in Satyameva Jayate. The actor who has been quite vocal about issues plaguing Indian society, has also been working in films that in a way reach out to the masses with a message. Further talking about women's safety in India, the actor said, "It's sad and getting worse. I'm scared, and this makes me question the society and the country I live in," he added.
