Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan, who is also the host of Bigg Boss Tamil is reportedly in trouble over his 'dictators' remarks during the show.

The actor-turned-politician is reportedly facing a lawsuit on grounds that his remarks regarding what happened to dictators in Tamil Nadu was an attempt to defame late the former Chief Minister, Jayalalitha.

According to reports, the complaint was filed against Haasan, the show, and Vijay TV by a lawyer named Louisal Ramesh.

The incident took place during an episode in Big Boss when Aishwarya Dutta, a contestant who became the house dictator threw garbage at another contestant. Haasan reportedly reprimanded the contestants by saying, "You know what happened to the dictators who ruled the state."

While viewers were shocked at the distasteful action of throwing garbage at a contestant being aired, it was Haasan's lecture that got into controversy.

The complaint filed against Haasan claimed that his remark was pointed towards the deceased AIADMK leader. It was also alleged that the remark was defamatory as Jayalalithaa's rule was peaceful.
