After the success of Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor seems to be on a high but co-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has said that Ranbir Kapoor has finally got a hit because his choice of scripts have been stupid. However, the Bollywood actor has said he disagrees with Vidhu because he does not regret any film he has done, even if it hasn’t worked out well for him.
According to a recent interview with a leading publication, Ranbir said all his films including Bombay Velvet, Saawariya and Jagga Jasoos all came naturally from within him. He went on to state that all of them are like his children and while there are successful ones, there are the others that have failed. However, he said they are close to him because he wonders why people didn’t love them and hence you always feel attached.
The statement comes after Ranbir’s box office hit Sanju which he has received a lot of credit for, but he has also had other films that never made it big like Besharam in 2013, Roy in 2015 and Tamasha in 2015 among others. However, now, he looks to be in sync as he is doing a film with girlfriend Alia Bhatt called Brahmastra and will release in 2019. The film has been directed by Ayan Mukerji and will also feature Amitabh Bachchan.
