With Priyanka Chopra’s recent success in Hollywood, a lot of Bollywood celebrities are stepping into the newer territory and it only seems fair to wonder why Shah Rukh Khan hasn’t experimented. Interestingly, in a recent interview with a leading publication, the King of Bollywood joked that maybe his English isn’t too good and that is why he may not be getting roles in Hollywood.
According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan said Hollywood directors have to look at him and see if they can cast him, he can’t look at them and expect to be cast. Shah Rukh also went on to add that he hasn’t been offered an opportunity yet and he doesn’t even know if he is good enough for the roles. Joking about the situation, Shah Rukh Khan said maybe his English is a little weak, for them. On the other hand, he said his aim is to make Indian films at their levels.
Shah Rukh Khan elaborating, said he hopes one day Tom Cruise will say he has been given an opportunity in a Hindi film. While not too long ago he met Hollywood director Christopher Nolan and posted a photo on Instagram, saying he is a big fan, SRK said he hopes one day Nolan would say, a Bollywood producer has given him an opportunity to direct a film.
