Fashion designer Masaba Gupta has slammed people saying that the reason for the trial separation from her husband Madhu Mantena was because of his infidelity. The tweet has come to light, only three days after the celebrity designer announced she will be going on a trial separation from her husband after three years of marriage.
According to the tweet by Masaba, she shared a screenshot of a message by a journalist who asked her husband Madhu Mantena to confirm if infidelity was the reason but she immediately responded saying she will not tolerate anything said about her husband. She also went on to add that while it is not true, she will continue to defend him as and when the question or the ‘infidelity’ word pops up as the reason for their separation from each other. On the day of the announcement, Masaba had said that they had discussed the separation with close friends and family and it was not an immediate decision. However, she asked everybody to support them during this difficult time while dealing with it even though she will not be able to explain it to them, as of now.
Masaba had also stated that the reason for the separation is that what each of them wants from life individually and separately is putting a lot of pressure on the marriage. The couple got married in June 2015 and saw a lot of Bollywood celebrities attend the wedding. Masaba Gupta is the daughter of former Indian actress Neena Gupta and West Indian cricket legend Sir Vivian Richards.
