India captain Virat Kohli and his wife actress Anushka Sharma reportedly gave up their business class seats on the flight from Adelaide to Perth to India’s fast bowlers. After their victory against Australia by a narrow 31-run margin, the team was travelling to Perth for their second test. Members of the Indian team were seated in the same plane. To assure the Indian pacers have a comfortable journey, ahead of the second Test starting Friday, the couple gave up business seats.

India played three pace bowlers in Adelaide – Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami. However, it isn’t clear which two of the three were benefited from the couple’s generosity. The flight duration from Adelaide to Perth is around three-and-a-half hours.

The revelation was made by former England captain and now commentator Michael Vaughan on his Twitter account. He said: “Witnessed @imVkohli & his wife give up their Business class seats to allow the Quicks more comfort & space on the trip from Adelaide – Perth !! Danger Australia .. Not only are the quicks more relaxed .. The Skipper is managing his troops with great human touches #AUSvIND.”

Post that, Harsha Bhogle and Australian sports commentator Neroli Meadows tweeted about the same. Check it out here:
