Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is busy getting ready for the release of his upcoming film Zero, in which he plays a vertically challenged man. During one of the pre-event sessions, he revealed his early struggles as an actor, and many people are shocked by the incident. The actor said a director once told him he could be used anywhere because he wasn’t really the hero-type.

Shah Rukh while talking in Lucknow said he was quite practical when he started and knew he did not look like a ‘hero’ nor could he dance well, and he was ready to deal with it. However, he went on to reveal that on one particular occasion the director said SRK, could be placed anywhere in the film because he was so ugly and not the hero type at all. Interestingly, he has been termed for the King Of Romance for the longest time, and it was only because of the late producer Yash Chopra, who inspired him to become a romantic hero. The producer had said that if he wanted to be a legend, he should do romantic films.

SRK will be seen in Zero, after his 2017 film Jab Harry Met Sejal, alongside Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif, with a special appearance from Salman Khan. The film has been directed by Aanand L Rai and is one of the most anticipated films of the year.
